  13.            debut of the new 440MHZ and 144MHz dual band mini handheld, the
  14.            IC-24AT.  Demands for compact, lightweight and multi-functional
  15.            dual band transceivers are increasing.  ICOM answers these
  16.            demands with the IC-24AT, the most compact dual band handheld in
  17.            the world!

  19.            COMPACT and SOPHISTICATED
  20.                 The IC-24AT measures only 2.0"W x 5.4"H x 1.4"D and weighs
  21.            just 12 ounces.  The new dual band mini handheld is     designed
  22.            to fit comfortably in your hand and provide you          with a
  23.            variety of the most advanced dual band features.

  25.            FIVE WATT POWER OUTPUT
  26.                 The IC-24AT delivers a full five watts of output power at
  27.            13.8 volts DC.   Reach all those distant repeaters!

  29.            BUILT-IN CLOCK
  30.                 Be on time for all your scheduled QSOs with the advanced
  31.                 24-hour clock system with auto power on timer and power off
  32.            timer functions built-in.  The IC-24AT can turn itself on    when
  33.            a preprogrammed time matches actual time and automati-  cally
  34.            turns itself off which conserves battery life.

  36.            CROSSBAND FULL DUPLEX CAPABILITY
  37.                 The IC-24AT's is capable of simultaneously transmitting on
  38.            the 144MHz band and receiving on the 440MHz and vice versa,
  39.            acting as a crossband repeater.  A convenient feature for
  40.            telephone-style full duplex QSO's.

  42.            CONVENIENT KEYBOARD and TUNING CONTROL
  43.                 The IC-24AT easy-to-access keyboard is useful for keying in
  44.            frequencies, storing a frequency in memory, recalling a      fre-
  45.            quency from memory, simplex/duplex selection, scanning       ac-
  46.            tivities and many other functions.  The top panel tuning     con-
  47.            trol compliments the keyboard aiding in quick switching      of
  48.            memory channels and tuning steps.

  50.            40 DOUBLE SPACED MEMORY CHANNELS
  51.                 The IC-24AT has 40 fully programmable memory channels on
  52.            each band for a total of 80 memory channels plus two call    chan-
  53.            nels.

  55.            DTMF   AUTODIAL MEMORY
  56.                 The IC-24AT can store and send frequently used telephone
  57.            numbers (up to 15 digits) at the touch of a button if it is
  58.            stored in one of the four DTMF code memory channels. No
  59.            need to push multi-digit phone numbers anymore with the
  60.            IC-24AT!

  62.            The IC-24AT features all this and much more including an external
  63.            DC power jack, convenient repeater functions, priority watch,
  64.            plus a variety of scan functions.  A kaleidoscope of options are
  65.            also available for the IC-24AT including the UT-50 CTCSS
  66.            encoder/decoder unit, and UT-51 CTCSS encoder unit.
